By virtue of being on higher ground, The Queens Kickshaw has been spared from Hurricane Sandy's devastating effects. Our business has benefited greatly from increased patronage this week, and we thank everyone for their support.
We would like to give back some of the luck and good will that has come our way by hosting a fundraiser on Thursday, Nov. 8. 100% of our profits for the day will be donated to the American Red Cross.
Whether you're a lover of coffee, cheese, beer, cider or kombucha (generously donated by Astoria's very own Beyond Kombucha*), come by to show your support for fellow New Yorkers in need.
Join us from 8-10pm for live music (band tba) as well.
