The newly-formed local orchestra is ready for its debut. "Jackson Heights is ripe and it's ready for an orchestra," says its conductor Patricia Glunt. The 58-year-old musician who lives in the neighborhood describes "the idea is really to explore and showcase the talent that we have in Queens, and use Jackson Heights as the center of that."

Handels Overture to the Messiah, Holsts St. Pauls Suite, Respighis Ancient Airs and Dances Suite#1 and a couple of holiday songs song by local lyric soprano Jayne Skoog.
